The Story behind Mavericks

Mavericks is a famous surf spot that is located in Northern California. This spot is known to bring in over 50 feet of waves during the winter time. Mavericks is the destination for most big wave surfers during the winter. With it's solid reputation, big wave surfers around the world would travel to this location to test themselves if they are truly a big wave rider. Not that much surfers become successfully known as a big wave surfer. Some make it, and some don't. With it's following, during the winter time, spectators around the world would come during it's peak time to witness the gigantic wave action.
